PeTWIN
Whole-field digital twins for production optimization and management
Objectives
PeTWIN defines a research-based agnostic vision and the best practices for implementing sustainable, usable and maintainable digital twins for field management. We address the interdisciplinary IT challenges of digital twins by understanding the requirements of digital twins for petroleum production. Based on these, we conceive solutions in the state of art of scientific research for data integration and interchanging through the adoption of standards and ontology models, data storage exploring the best system architecture and cloud solutions, and data analytics and simulation using visualization and artificial intelligence techniques.
